Brief biographies of new leaders called to LDS Church hierarchy

Elder Jorge F. Zeballos, 52, was serving as president of the Chile Concepcion South Mission and had been an Area Seventy. He worked as the manager of corporate affairs for a mining company in Chile until 2005. Born in Ovalle, Chile, he married Carmen Gloria Valenzuela. They are the parents of five children.

Second Quorum of the Seventy

Elder Tad R. Callister, 62, was serving as president of the Canada Toronto East Mission and had been an Area Seventy. Professionally, he had been a practicing attorney with a firm in California. Born in Glendale, Calif., he married Kathryn Louise Saporiti and they are the parents of six children.

Elder Kent D. Watson, 64, has served as a mission president and at the time of his call, was the membership clerk in his ward. He spent his career as a CPA and became CEO of an international accounting firm. Born in Cedar City, Utah, he married Connie Lingmann and they are the parents of five children.

Young Women General Presidency

Elaine S. Dalton, former first counselor in the Young Women, is now president, with Mary N. Cook (former second counselor) as first counselor and Ann M. Dibb as second counselor. Sister Dibb, a former Young Women General Board member, is President Thomas S. Monson's daughter.

Sister Dalton was born and raised in Ogden and received a bachelor's degree in English from Brigham Young University. She has six children with her husband, Stephen E. Dalton.

Sister Cook was a special education teacher and administrator as well as an elementary school principal. She has a bachelor's and master's degree in speech pathology and audiology as well as an education degree from BYU. She is a step-mother to four children and step-grandmother to 17 grandchildren.

Sister Dibb was born and raised in Salt Lake City and is a full-time homemaker. The daughter of President and Sister Thomas S. Monson, she has a bachelor's degree in elementary education from BYU and is married to Roger Dibb. They are the parents of one daughter and three sons.
