BYU football: Inside BYU camp
INJURY REPORT: It was just what Bronco Mendenhall has tried to avoid all spring a serious injury. Linebacker Terrance Hooks suffered what appeared to be a serious left knee injury in the final series of plays at the end of Thursday's practice. Hooks had just tipped a Brenden Gaskins pass up in the air and made a move to get underneath it, succeeding, when he crashed to the turf in pain. Right now it appears to be serious, possibly a patella tendon injury, but we'll know more after an examination in the hospital, said Mendenhall.
NOTES: Max Hall completed 10-of-10 passes for 85 yards and a touchdown pass to Austin Collie during a brief 11-on-11 non-contact session on Thursday. Mendenhall will host more than 800 former players and their families today with tours, meetings and a scrimmage before finishing the day with a barbecue.
