PROVO — Now that word is out teen pop superstar Miley Cyrus will headline Stadium of Fire on the Fourth of July, organizers don't expect the concert's estimated 50,000 tickets to last long.

"We're anticipating a quick sellout," said Brad Pelo, senior executive producer for Stadium of Fire, the crown jewel of America's Freedom Festival at Provo.

The 15-year-old winner of Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards for "Best Female Actress" and "Best Female Singer" recently performed at Reliant Stadium in Houston on March 9, said Pelo.

That concert sold out in less than half an hour.

Pelo expects history to repeat itself when Stadium of Fire tickets go on sale Friday at 5 p.m. both online at www.byutickets.com and at the Marriott Center ticket office. He also thinks the demographics of concertgoers will change dramatically from the usual crowd. In previous years, Stadium of Fire hosted country music headliners. This year, he said, Cyrus, best known as the star of Disney's "Hannah Montana," should draw a younger crowd to the fireworks extravaganza.

"She's an energetic gal," he said.

Cyrus, daughter of country music singer Billy Ray Cyrus, will also draw a lot of people from surrounding states, Pelo said. Miley Cyrus doesn't have any other concerts planned between now and the Fourth of July.

Cyrus' 2007 "Best of Both Worlds" concert tour was one of the hottest selling tickets last summer — and she appears excited to perform in Provo.

"We're gonna set the place on fire, all right," she said in a videotaped announcement Tuesday. "And I'm really looking forward to it."

Concert tickets range in price from $35 to $120 for seats on the field.

The event will also feature the Blue Man Group — a trio known for their wildly theatrical performances — and CNN personality Glenn Beck, who returns as emcee.

Though tickets won't go on sale until Friday, festival organizers made 1,000 wristbands that would guarantee a spot in line to hopeful concertgoers. All day a steady flow of parents, with young children in tow, converged on the ticket office to get their coveted pink wristband. By 4:45 p.m., Marriott Center ticket office staff said they only had 50 wristbands left.

Provo residents Lena Vaieland and her daughter said they rushed to get their wristbands for a chance to see Cyrus in concert.

"I heard at work and dropped everything," Lena Vaieland said.

Her daughter Nancy said she's Cyrus' biggest fan and sings along to "Hannah Montana" every time she watches it.

"She's talented and an amazing singer," she said. "She makes my day."
