PARK CITY — The executive director of the Kimball Art Center has resigned, the center's board announced this week.

The announcement of Pam Crowe-Weisberg's departure comes in the same week the nonprofit center's public relations director, Susan Thomas, also resigned. A third, unnamed employee also left the art center's small staff recently, Thomas said.

Several phone calls to the art center went unanswered Thursday, but in a news release the board said Crowe-Weisberg left for family reasons.

Crowe-Weisberg has led the center since January 2004.

"On behalf of the board of directors, we want to thank Pam for having taken the Kimball to a new level of community relevance and involvement," said interim director Bruce Larrabee in the release. "She leaves the center in excellent condition for future growth."

Larrabee is chairman of the center's board and also runs a Park City gallery.
