Internet-based station to feature ex-KRCL volunteers

—KUUU ("U-92") sold 4,700 tickets to its May 3 Cinco de Mayo Custom Car Show and Concert during just the first weekend of sales because of their discounted price. That was far more than the station expected.

—Radio's weekly national audience is estimated to be 235 million, or 78 percent of the total U.S. population, according to a report from Inside Radio. The medium of radio is also said to reach 95 percent of Hispanics and 94 percent of blacks within the United States.
