FARR WEST, Weber County — Authorities are investigating a bomb scare at a credit union.

Weber County Sheriff's deputies said a teller discovered a note at a Golden West Credit Union just prior to the opening of the business on Wednesday morning. The note indicated there was a bomb in the credit union, Weber County Sheriff's Capt. Klint Anderson said.

"We sent in bomb sniffing dogs and a bomb tech, but found no sign of a bomb," he said Wednesday.

Authorities closed the road near 1700 West and 2700 North for several hours while they investigated. Detectives are reviewing surveillance video in hopes of identifying a suspect.
