Media ignore Obama's lie
I have been totally amazed at the media coverage of the Barack Obama "race" speech. Has it become so bad in politics that we expect politicians to lie without even comment? Two days before the speech, Obama stood before television cameras and told us that he had never sat in the pews and heard any of the Rev. Wright's hate speeches. He stated if he had heard such hate speech he would have objected. Two days later he admits in his "race" speech that he had, in fact, been present and had heard such hate ranting. Not one person from the media has challenged or questioned the apparent lie. I hark back to President Clinton's blatant lies. Do we now expect that politicians will lie when they get in a difficult position? The lies not only show the true character of Obama but also of the fawning media.
