A new map of the Hardware Ranch Wildlife Management Area is available on the Web.
The free map can be viewed and downloaded at www.wildlife.utah.gov/hardwareranch/visit.php. To find the map, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the "Download map of Hardware Ranch" selection.
"We hope the map allows sportsmen and other visitors to identify routes and corridors to the excellent hunting and recreational opportunities that are all around us," said Dan Christensen, ranch superintendent. "We sit in the middle of a huge migration corridor that provides year-round access to wildlife."
In addition to being available on the Web, the full-color map will be part of a series of new displays created for the ranch's visitors center. This summer, large versions of the map will also be placed along the major roads and trails at the ranch, including the Shoshone trailhead near the visitors center.
The Hardware Ranch Wildlife Management Area is 17 miles east of Hyrum. For more information call 435-753-6206 or visit www.hardwareranch.com.
