An MRI performed Tuesday on Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko's ailing right hip was negative, the Jazz said this morning.

Kirilenko will not play in the Jazz's home game tonight against Minnesota and he is being called "doubtful" for Friday's visit to Phoenix.

Kirilenko will be treated daily and re-evaluated on a day-to-day basis, Jazz spokesman Jonathan Rinehart said.

Kirilenko sprained the hip after getting fouled by Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki during Monday's win over the Mavericks.

With Kirilenko out tonight, Jazz coach Jerry Sloan confirmed today that reserve swingman C.J. Miles will start at small forward.
