PROVO — Provo College is opening a second campus in American Fork.

It will be just off I-15 in the city's newest commercial development site, North Pointe Business Park, 752 E. 1180 South. It is scheduled to open in October but the student enrollment process will begin earlier in the fall.

Provo College provides degree, certification and diploma programs in Utah.

The American Fork campus will play a vital role in serving the increasing higher-education needs of adult learners and recent high school graduates throughout Utah County, according to the school's spokespersons.

The new campus will include several features, including a student lounge, computer laboratory and a forensics laboratory for the college's criminal justice program.

Provo College is actively recruiting entry-level and supervisory staff in admissions, academic affairs, student services and financial services for the facility.
