The Boyer Co. and landowner Shan Gubler are developing the first phase of a shopping center in Santa Clara, Washington County.

The district will be anchored by a new, 72,063-square-foot Harmons grocery store at the intersection of Pioneer Parkway and Rachael Drive. The first phase also will include additional space for smaller retailers, financial institutions and restaurants.

Construction will begin later this year, and store is expected to open in 2009.
