NEW HARMONY, Washington County — Police are looking for a man who robbed a gas station Sunday morning in New Harmony.

Wearing a black ski mask, a gray hooded sweat shirt and black pants, the man entered the Texaco, 3802 E. Highway 144, around 7:15 a.m., Washington County sheriff's officials said. The man pointed a handgun at the cashier and demanded money.

"There was no one else in the store at the time, and the suspect was able to empty both registers," Washington County Sheriff's Sgt. Jared Redfearn said.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the sheriff's office at 435-634-5730.
