Utah Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko was sent home from Thursday's practice with flu-like symptoms and will be considered a game-time decision for Friday night against the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center in L.A.

Jazz senior vice president of basketball operations Kevin O'Connor said Thursday morning that Kirilenko was sent home "because he was sick," and that it was not because he was being traded. He was not being traded — at least as of 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

The NBA trade deadline for the season is at 1 p.m. Thursday, and as of 11:30, the Jazz had made no deals.

Power forward Carlos Boozer, who missed Wednesday's practice and an evening autograph session due to a sore lower back that has been bothering him for a few weeks but "flared up" in Tuesday's game against Golden State, was back practicing Thursday and expects to play Friday.

Forward Matt Harpring, who re-sprained his left wrist Tuesday night, practiced both Wednesday and Thursday.
