One Utahn won and another Utahn lost Monday night in the finals of ABC's "Dance War." Zack Wilson and Team Bruno won in voting by the show's viewers and secured a recording contract; Mariel Sarangay and Team Carrie Ann finished second in the two-team competition.

Oddly enough, Wilson's former fiancee, Julianne Hough, is a two-time winner in the same time slot on the same network. She partnered with Apolo Anton Ohno and Helio Castroneves to win on consecutive seasons of "Dancing With the Stars."

"Dance War," a seven-episode filler series to bridge the gap between cycles of "Dancing," featured teams of singers/dancers put together by "Dancing" judges Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba. Monday's finale also featured the unveiling of the celebrities who will be featured on the next cycle of that show and, contrary to rumor, Donny Osmond was not among them.

When "Dancing" returns on March 17, it will feature Adam Carolla, Christian de la Fuente, Shannon Elizabeth, Steve Guttenberg, Mario, Marlee Matlin, Penn Jillette, Priscilla Presley, Monica Seles, Jason Taylor, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Kristi Yamaguchi.
