BYU already working with some new faces

"Nobody in Division I-A really talked to him before BYU came in late with a scholarship," said Bryce Monsen. "Absolutely he's going on his mission and that's serving the Lord 24/7. We support him."
In BYU's football offices on Thursday, the Cougars' recruiting attention had already turned to the class of 2009. BYU already has four oral commitments from that class and hosted 90 juniors last month for "Junior Day."
In the leftover category, what happened to the highly touted linebacker BYU received a pledge from?
BYU thought it was in the running for one of the top linebackers in the country, Unoa Kaveinga, from Southern California. But after committing to the Cougars in mid-January while on a visit to Provo, Kaveinga signed on Wednesday with USC without de-committing to the Cougars.
