BALD EAGLE DAY SATURDAY

Utah's annual Bald Eagle Day will be Saturday.

Viewing sites: — Salt Creek Waterfowl Management Area, located about 10 miles northwest of Corinne. Take Exit 365 off I-15 and travel west on state Route 83 through Corinne to 6800 West, then head north to the site. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

— Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area, located on the west side of Farmington at 1325 W. Glover Lane (925 South). Travel north on I-15 and take Exit 324. Turn left on Park Lane and to Clark Lane. Turn right and travel west to the first stop sign. From there turn left to Glover Lane and turn right to the refuge. Viewing will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

— Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge in Brigham City. Event will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Take the Brigham City exit to the refuge. The visitors center is west of the freeway and can provide directions.

Spotting scopes will available at each viewing site. Volunteers will also be on hand to help spot eagles and to answer questions.
