Public input is sought on northern Utah County transportation plans

Several workshops and open houses will be held throughout February to receive public input on long-term solutions for east-west transportation in northern Utah County.

A study identifying solutions is being conducted by the Mountainland Association of Governments and several north county cities. The comments and ideas from the public will be considered by the project team in developing future transportation projects. The workshops will be held at various locations in the north county. They include:

• Today, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Legacy Elementary School, 28 E. 1340 North, American Fork.

• Wednesday, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Eagle Mountain City Hall, 1650 E. Stagecoach Run, Eagle Mountain.

• Thursday, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Mountain Ridge Junior High, 5525 W. 10400 North, Highland.

• Tuesday, Feb. 12, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Harvest Elementary School, 2105 Providence Drive, Saratoga Springs.

• Wednesday, Feb. 13, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at North Ridge Elementary School, 1660 N. 50 East, Orem.

• Tuesday, Feb. 19, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Snow Springs Elementary School, 850 S. 1700 West, Lehi.
