A Vernal Republican wants to enable members of Utah's nine American Indian tribes to register with the state, just as any so-called foreign, or out-of-state, business entity would.

Sen. Kevin Van Tassell, R-Vernal, says SB110 "allows us to do business as usual as we would with any foreign corporation."

The Senate Business and Labor Committee unanimously approved the bill, which now moves to the full Senate for consideration.
