This will be an opportunity for people to see some of the nation's best climbers compete, said Jeff Pedersen, general manager.

The competition is open to men and women ages 15 and up. The center is at 230 W. 10600 South. For more information on competing or viewing, visit www.momentumclimbing.com.

YOUTH SNOWMOBILE CLASSES

Utah State Parks and Recreation offers "Know Before You Go!" snowmobile education courses in Salt Lake, Weber, Davis and Morgan counties throughout January and February.

Students must preregister for classes and will be notified of the course time.

Off-highway vehicle classes are available at the Jordan River Training Center on Jan. 26 and weekends throughout February and March.

Children age 8 to 16 are required to take a safety class prior to operating snowmobiles on public lands or trails. To preregister or for more information about Utah off-highway vehicle programs, please call 800-648-7433.
