PROVO — Provo Mayor Lewis K. Billings will deliver his annual "State of the City" address at noon Thursday in the Provo Municipal Council Chambers, 351 W. Center.

Billings will outline the city's agenda for 2008 and beyond.

"2007 was a year of growth and progress for Provo, and we anticipate 2008 will be even better," Billings said. During the address, Billings also will highlight the accomplishments of several outstanding Provo organizations and individuals.

Thursday's address marks Billings' 11th State of the City address since he was first inaugurated Provo's mayor in 1997.

The public is invited. The program will be broadcast live on Provo's Channel 17.
