LAYTON — Hill Air Force Base is by far the city's largest employer, with an estimated 14,999 workers in town.

But what are Layton's other big employers?

According to Layton's latest financial report, the Davis School District is the next-largest employer, with about 1,000 workers in the city. Citigroup, Davis Hospital and the Smith's Distribution Center also all employ about 1,000 workers each.

Rounding out the top 10 are Wal-Mart, May Trucking, SOS Temporary Services, Tanner Memorial Clinic and Layton City Corporation — all with about 500 workers apiece.
