Former Boise State wide receiver Aiona Key, who spent the past season at Mount San Antonio Community College in California, has given the University of Utah a recruiting commitment. The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder plans to sign a letter of intent with the Utes in February and will have two years of eligibility.

Key led Mt. SAC to the California state championship game this past season with 80 catches for 1,112 yards and 17 touchdowns. He was named offensive MVP of the title game after making 12 receptions for 179 yards and a score in a 31-28 setback to San Francisco.

As a redshirt freshman at Boise State in 2006, Key saw limited action — appearing in just three games — as the Broncos became just the second team (joining Utah) to break into the Bowl Championship Series.
