• The geologic hazards report shall be site-specific and identify all known or suspected potential geologic hazards, originating on-site or off-site, that may affect the property.

• The reports must contain a variety of maps, recommendations and evaluations on whether mitigation measures will be required to build on the area.

• The city has up to 45 days to review submitted geologic hazard reports.

• The city may impose mitigation requirements or more studies after reviewing the hazard reports, but developers may appeal the city's restrictions to a three-member panel selected by the city and developer.

• Whenever a geologic hazard report is required, the owner of the parcel will be required to make the report public and available for public inspection in the city's files.
