"Diagnosis Murder: The Third Season" (CBS/Paramount, 1995-96, five discs, $45.99). Scott Baio is out and Charlie Schlatter is in as Dick Van Dyke's lighthearted murder-mystery series goes into its third year. Guests include Robert Vaughn, Terry O'Quinn, George Hamilton and Vicki Lawrence.

Extras: full frame, 18 episodes

"7th Heaven: The Fifth Season" (CBS/Paramount, 2000-01, six discs, $54.99). The nine-member Camden family still makes for wholesome TV in its fifth season, in what many fans claim is the series' peak. The older kids are becoming more independent and somewhat at odds with their parents (Stephen Collins, Catherine Hicks), and the Olsen twins show up as rebellious teens!

Extras: full frame, 22 episodes

"24: Season Six" (Fox, 2007, seven discs, $59.98). This season of the pulse-pounding thriller series was a bit of a disappointment when it aired last January. A few individual episodes were top-notch, but on the whole it became redundant and soap opera-ish. Still, Kiefer Sutherland is strong as super-agent Jack Bauer.

Extras: widescreen, 24 episodes, deleted scenes, audio commentaries, Webisodes, featurettes

"The Best of Crank Yankers: Uncensored" (Comedy Central/Paramount, 2002-07, $19.99)
