Care for a recount? No thanks, one Elk Ridge City Council candidate said Monday night.

The Utah County Clerks' office released the official results of the 2007 municipal general election, which includes provisional and absentee ballots. In Elk Ridge, Kevin Hansbrow received 267 votes, just six shy of earning a spot on the City Council.

Despite the close call, Hansbrow said he won't be seeking a recount anytime soon.

"I wasn't planning on it," he said Monday night. "Eventually, it'll be my time, but it isn't right now."
