Raser Technologies lessens quarterly loss

PROVO — Raser Technologies Inc., a technology licensing and geothermal development company, recently reported a net loss of $3.4 million, or 6 cents per share, for the third quarter ended Sept. 30. That compares with a loss of $5.9 million, or 12 cents per share, for the same quarter last year.

Revenue totaled $49,887, up from $9,870 in the 2006 third quarter.
