Ambasador to discuss U.S.-Belgian relations

PROVO —The Belgian ambassador to the United States will speak on relations between the two countries at a Brigham Young University Ambassadorial Insights Lecture on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Room 238, Herald R. Clark Building.

Dominique Struye de Swielande was appointed ambassador in 2006, having previously been Belgium's representative to NATO and ambassador to Germany, among other prominent governmental positions. Struye received a master's of law degree from the University College London, a master's degree in European law from the University of Ghent and a doctorate in law from the Catholic University of Leuven.
