Man convicted of meth charge
Michael Tanner, 44, was convicted in 4th District Court of five counts of distribution of methamphetamine in a drug-free zone, each charge a first-degree felony.
Five different times in October 2006, the Utah County Major Crimes Task Force arranged drug buys from Tanner through a police informant.
Tanner will be sentenced on Nov. 28 and faces the possibility of life in prison on each case.
He also has several other drug-related cases still pending in 4th District Court.
