PROVO — Four former All-Americans and a national hall of fame coach will be inducted into the Brigham Young University Athletic Hall of Fame tomorrow.

In a ceremony in the Cougar Room at LaVell Edwards Stadium at 7 p.m., former NFL All-Pro tight end Chad Lewis, Bruce Kleege (tennis), Cathy Nixon (basketball), Tea Nieminen (volleyball) and Gary Pullins (baseball) will be honored. They will also be recognized during BYU's game against Eastern Washington on Saturday.

More than 150 athletes, coaches and administrators have been inducted into the BYU Athletic Hall of Fame since its inception in 1975. Among the criteria to be considered are All-American status, university graduation, professional accomplishments and community service.

CROSS COUNTRY: At Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, Ind., the women's and men's teams placed sixth and 11th, respectively.

The mid-season meet was broken down into four separate races, with the No. 15 women running in the 6K white race against 35 other teams, and the men participating in the 8K blue race versus 38 other squads.

The women were led by Angela Wagner, while the men were paced by Stephan Shay. Both Wagner and Shay finished in 26th place.
