District and city administrators will continue trying to iron out their differences during a joint meeting next week, when board members will continue trying to get their heads around being involved in the complex process.

That's exactly how public/private partnerships should work, Zions Bank regional president Tom Morgan said. Morgan was thrilled when Provo City Council members, school district officials and school board members enthusiastically attended last week's announcement of the bank's office tower.

"The CDA is an interesting study in allowing everyone to have a voice," Morgan said. "Some might feel like, 'Do we have to go through this pain?' Well, look at what it got us. It brought everyone together. We shouldn't be afraid of getting together and getting it all out on the table.

"At the end of the day, the tax benefit to everyone is tremendous."
