From Deseret News archives:

Huntsman way too political

I am so disappointed with Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. When I voted for him, I reasoned that with his background and education we would be getting a nonpolitician who would govern based on doing what is right rather than what is politically correct. How wrong I was. He quickly morphed into a politician, standing for whatever pleases those with the loudest voice. He hops on the man-made global warming bandwagon; he is quick to condemn all Utah coal mining before he knows much about it; he commissions a panel to make recommendations about how to solve Utah's energy problems, who start with the assumption that CO2 emissions are our greatest threat; then he comes out against nuclear power because that clicks with the politically correct crowd.

Where is the leadership? He must be preparing to run for the U.S. Senate.
