Sade A. Turner has joined the law firm of Strong & Hanni as an associate in the transportation practice group and the construction law practice group. Her education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Her areas of practice include civil litigation, transportation, construction law and insurance defense.

Michelle LeBaron has has been named senior sales manager at Snowbird Resort and Conference Center. LeBaron has more than 21 years of experience in the hotel sales and convention services industry. For the past 12 years, she was a convention sales director for the Salt Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Bill Meredith has joined Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. as manager of container sales and service at the company's container facility in Salt Lake City, Todd Dayley has been promoted to director of sales for the company's Northwest Region and Chuck Powell has been named vice president of the Pacific Northwest Region. Meredith has 25 years of experience in the transportation industry. He previously held industry positions in sales and management. Dayley will be based in the Salt Lake service center, where he will manage field sales in eight states. He has 18 years of experience in the transportation industry, most recently serving city sales manager at the Salt Lake City facility. Powell will be based at the Salt Lake service center and will manage sales and operations in six Pacific Northwestern states. Powell has 32 years' experience in the transportation industry. Most recently, he was vice president of the company's Central States Region. Prior to joining Old Dominion, Powell held various positions in the trucking industry.

Tanji Goodfellow has joined Lifetree Clinical Research in Salt Lake City as executive director of quality assurance. Goodfellow will be responsible for evaluating and directing quality controls and procedures and developing, implementing and managing quality assurance standards, processes and policies. Goodfellow has more than 23 years of experience in the clinical research industry, mostly recently as director of clinical operations for a pharmaceuticals company.

Matt Hafner has been named vice president of ground operations for Southwest Airlines, where he will be responsible for overseeing all station operations in the western region of the United States, ground operations employee resources and ground support. Hafner joined Southwest in 1988 and has served in a variety of positions, including opening Southwest's Salt Lake City station as the manager of ramp and operations in 1994.
