Shant Schroeder has been promoted to director of communications at Agel Enterprises, based in Provo, and the company has hired Andrew Pete, Michael Ormond and Phillip Walstad. Schroeder has been with the company since June 2006. Pete is the company's public relations specialist and a recent graduate from Brigham Young University. Ormond is a media production specialist and previously was a multimedia illustrator for the Utah Air National Guard. Walstad is vice president of Japan operations, bringing more than 14 years of experience in network marketing.
Michael King has been named to manage Utah operations for Wilson & Co. Inc. Engineers & Architects, which recently opened a Salt Lake office. King has 18 years of experience in project management and design, working on transportation and public works projects across the Southwest and Rocky Mountain states.
Jim Rowley has been named president of the newly created Northwest division of 24 Hour Fitness. He will be responsible for managing operations in Utah, northern California, Nevada, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington. Rowley formerly was senior vice president of fitness for the company and has been with 24 Hour Fitness for 15 years.
