A boy and girl riding an ATV on trails above Centerville were taken to Primary Children's Medical Center after the vehicle rolled and pinned them underneath.

Davis Metro Fire's Jeff Bassett said the accident happened at around 7:30 p.m. in "the bowl," an area near Viewmont High School's block "V" above the trails.

"It was a pretty big four-wheeler," Bassett said.

A 12-year-old boy was taken by helicopter to the hospital and a girl, 15, was transported by ambulance to the same place. Both were riding ATVs with their family at the time. Bassett said both were in serious condition.
