The search begins for new ed chief

The State Board of Regents announced Tuesday its has begun its official search to replace Utah System of Higher Education Commissioner Rich Kendell, who will retire at year's end.

The regents' executive committee will examine candidates and recommend finalists for the job to the Board of Regents, who will make the names public before conducting final interviews.

Search information will be posted periodically at www.utahsbr.edu.
