An administrator at the Mountainland Applied Technology Center has been placed on administrative leave pending further investigation of a state audit.

Campus President Clay Christensen is the second administrator to be put on leave regarding the ongoing report by the office of the state auditor, which disclosed "significant problems" in how transactions are handled at the college, according to state auditor Auston Johnson.

Earlier this week, the State Board of Regents placed Utah College of Applied Technology President Robert O. Brems on paid administrative leave while the investigation continues.

Jared Haines has been appointed to act in Brems' stead, and MATC vice president Fred Keetch has been appointed as acting campus president during the interim. The audit report has yet to be released to the public, as Johnson said it remains incomplete without responses from the agencies concerned.
