Time for Three blends styles

Trio to perform in 2 concerts as festival series winds down

"We also have a wonderful rendition of 'Blackbird' by the Beatles that we put together several years ago."

Since they're relatively new on the scene, De Pue said that many of their audiences are subscribers who signed up for a series of concerts. But they hope their fan base will include increasing numbers of young people who can begin to feel comfortable coming into a traditional, classical venue.

"We offer our younger audience the opportunity not to have any preconceived ideas on what the music is supposed to be saying, and to just really listen to and enjoy music for being just that — just music, and enjoyable, and emotional, and that it connects with them," said De Pue.
