WEST VALLEY CITY — Two "Meet the Candidates" public forums are planned for West Valley City in preparation for the upcoming election.

The first event will be Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. in the City Council chambers of West Valley City Hall, 3600 S. Constitution Blvd.

The other event is scheduled for Oct. 30 at 7 p.m., at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 W. 3100 South.

The public forums will last approximately one hour. Candidates will be available one hour before the event to meet one-on-one with residents.

Questions for the forum can be submitted to ojackson@wvc-ut.gov. For more information, call the West Valley City recorder's office at 963-3203 or 963-3207.
