Mobile Viet wall to visit Provo

Memorial can help veterans heal old wounds

The wall is open to the public day and night, rain or shine, and there is no admission fee. Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and find names on the wall. Hubbard said visitors looking for specific names can have a free certificate printed with additional historical information at no charge.

Local Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Marine Corps League from Utah will help with flag ceremonies and a color guard.

Parking is available on 500 North just east of the wall, with street parking also available.

Wahlen said he believes veterans deserve more recognition, especially veterans from the Vietnam War, as well as the Korean War.

"I think people tend to take their freedoms for granted and forget that if it weren't for a vet, they wouldn't be free today," Wahlen said.
