Price River

Location: Helper. Directions: Many access points through Helper and Price. Catch: Brown trout, rainbow trout and cutthroat trout. A great place to bring kids.

Huntington Game Farm Ponds

Location: Huntington. Directions: Turn north off Why. 31 onto Huntington North Loop Road, travel 1/2 mile, then turn right onto dirt road at bend in paved road. After another 1/2 mile or so, will reach a locked gate signed as DR. property, park, cross the fence and travel by foot to the ponds about 1/4 mile, at forks in the walk-in road, stay to the left, you will pass a couple smaller ponds without fish. Catch: Rainbow trout, largemouth bass and bluegill. Size: Main pond is 3 acres.

Green River Golf Course

Location: Green River. Directions: Green River State Park O. take the west exit from I-70 into the city of Green River, travel approximately 2.5 miles east to a point where there is a state park sign on the south side of the road, turn south there onto Green River Blvd. and travel for 1/2 mile to the state park entrance. The pond is in the state park just south of the entrance. Catch: Largemouth bass and bluegill. Size: 1 acre.

Holmes Creek Reservoir

Location: Layton. Directions: Turn west off of Highway 89, onto Gentile St. just south of 1200 North. Size: 35 acres. Catch: Largemouth bass, black crappie, bluegill and channel catfish. Handicap access: No.

Jensen Nature Pond Park

Location: Syracuse City. Directions: From I-15 exit 335 (Antelope Island Exit), take Highway 108 west to 2000 West, turn left (south) to Bluff Road, left (east) to approximately 1300 West, pond and park will be on south side of road. Size: 7 acres. Boating and floating: By city permit only. Catch: Channel catfish, rainbow trout, largemouth bass, bluegill and yellow perch. Handicap access: yes.
