Pioneer Day activities and celebrations are set across the state

Spanish Fork: Fiesta Days 24, events include craft fair, carnival by the city building, rodeo, 600 S. Main; today, 6:30 a.m., 30th Annual Speedy Spaniard 10K road race and walk, Canyon View Park, 3300 E. Powerhouse Road, 7-10 a.m., Spanish Fork Football Booster Club Breakfast, City Park, southwest corner; 7:30 a.m., 13th Annual 1-mile children's Speedy Spaniard Fun Run, 9 a.m., parade, begins at 900 East, ends on 900 North, all-day events include craft fair, City Center, Art Show, in front of library, Outdoor Quilt Show, Jones-Hughes Pioneer Park, 143 S. Main; 10:30 a.m.to 3:30 p.m., bands and entertainment at city park; 1 p.m., Cowboy Mounted Shooting, rodeo arena, free; 1 to 6 p.m.. swimming, Spanish Fork Community Water Park, 400 W. 200 N., 2 p.m., 3rd Annual Fiesta Day's adopt-a-duck river race, Spanish Fork River, west of the new ballpark; 6 p.m. to dusk, music, Russell Swenson Park and the new Sports Park, 295 W. Ogden: Today, 6:30 p.m. pre-rodeo, 7:30 p.m. Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo, nightly Mutton Bustin' and skydivers, Ogden Pioneer Stadium, 668 17th St., Ogden; today, 9 a.m., Ogden Pioneer Days Parade, begins on 31st Street and proceeds north on Washington Boulevard to 20th Street; noon, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Open House, DUP Museum, 2148 Grant Ave., 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., pioneer skills and craft fair, Ft.
