"I want to stay small enough to know my customers," she said. "I want them to know they can trust where their meat comes from."

The Bowens will be moving to Montana with their cattle in August, where they have room to expand. They are hoping to double the amount of meat available this year and keep expanding to meet the increased demand.

"Nothing will change for our customers," Tami said. "The cattle will be shipped to a farm in West Point (Davis County) a month before being harvested, and I will come down and meet with the customers for pickups just like I always do."

The Bowens already visited the cattle in Montana.
