"When you're blessed with the talent these guys are blessed with, and still are a young age, and you've shown your own organization and hopefully people around the league what you're capable of doing on a basketball court," Ceisler added, "you have to play the process. ... It's a business first, and you keep your options open."

Should Miles sign another club's offer sheet, Utah would have seven days to decide if it wants to match the offer. It's not known which, if any, other teams have interest.

FREE-AGENT FRONT: According to the Washington Post, ex-Jazz shooting guard DeShawn Stevenson — Utah's 2000 first-round selection — has agreed to a four-year contract worth about $15 million to remain in Washington.

Stevenson controls the option on the fourth year of the deal, the Post reported.

Still unsigned ex-Jazz players include Devin Brown, Keith McLeod, Milt Palacio, Randy Livingston, Michael Ruffin and restricted free agent Sasha Pavlovic.

SUMMERTIME: Checking in on other summer leagues, Utah State product Spencer Nelson — who had strong runs with the Jazz's past two Revue teams — is averaging 5.5 points through four games for Milwaukee and Livingston is averaging 4.0 in three games for the Bucks at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas; Palacio is averaging 5.5 points and 3.8 assists for New Orleans in Vegas; and ex-Jazz guard Andre Owens averaged 12.0 points in five games for Indiana at the Pro Summer League in Orlando.

Also, Jackson Vroman — son of ex-Jazz center Brett Vroman — is averaging 8.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in four games for the Hornets at Vegas.
