NOTABLE ABSENCES: Both Real Salt Lake and Toronto FC were forced to play without several key players on Wednesday because of international duty and suspension.

Real Salt Lake was without Freddy Adu, Chris Seitz and newcomer Nathan Sturgis who are all in Canada participating in the U-20 World Cup with the Under-20 U.S. National Team.

Adu has been sizzling in the the tournament thus far, including his hat-trick hero performance against Poland on Tuesday in a 6-1 Group D victory.

Toronto, meanwhile, was missing several key defenders against Real Salt Lake. Andrew Boyens, who's started every game but three, was suspended for his red card in the second half of last Sunday's 1-1 draw with Kansas City.

Right back Marvell Wynne is on duty with the U.S. National Team in the Copa America in Venezuela and missed his second straight match. Prior to getting called up to the National Team, Wynne had started every match since coming over in a Week 3 trade with New York prior to getting called up to the National Team.
