The band Judas Priest once sang about "Wild Nights, Hot & Crazy Days." That's summertime in a drumshell.

And with summer, not only do we along the Wasatch Front get extended daylight, a break from school and soaring temperatures, but we also get a refreshing blast of live music.

The 2007 summer concert season is on the verge of breaking onto the scene. And there really is something for everyone.

Major local venues — USANA Amphitheatre, Red Butte Garden, Kingsbury Hall, Abravanel Hall, the E Center, the EnergySolutions Arena, the Sandy Amphitheater, the Kenley Centennial Amphitheater, the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre and the David O. McKay Events Center — will have shows throughout the summer.

Here is a list of what is scheduled so far (subject to change, of course).
