The Utah Watercolor Society will offer a weeklong watercolor workshop, Monday through Friday, with Linda Kemp. Open to members for $275 and nonmembers for $325, the workshop will be taught at the Sons of Utah Pioneers Building in Salt Lake City. For more information call 269-1691 or e-mail sylj39@gmail.com. Kemp will also give a Utah Watercolor Society lecture Tuesday evening at Wheeler Historic Farm, 6359 S. 900 East at 7. For more information visit www.utwatercolor.com.

The Utah Arts Council will accept requests for its traveling exhibits through the month of May. Requests may be made at arts.utah.gov, at $125 per exhibit. Schools, colleges, museums, libraries and other cultural centers throughout Utah are invited to submit their requests for the 2007-08 exhibit season. For more information call 236-7555.

The Provo Arts Council announces a call for entries for its "Freedom Festival Fine Art Exhibit, 2007." Deadline for receipt of admission form, fee and slides for judging is Thursday, May 10. The exhibit will run from June 15-July 30 at the Coleman Studios Gallery, 117 N. University, Provo. For more information call 852-6646.

The Meyer Gallery, Park City, announces a call for entries for its "Utah Art Students Juried Show" that will be held Oct. 26. There will be cash awards and no entry fee.
