Tourism conference May 16-18 in Price
The conference is sponsored by the Utah Office of Tourism and the Utah Tourism Industry Coalition and will feature members of the state's tourism community learning about the latest industry trends.
May 16 will feature tourism offices from around the state at a working session to share their marketing plans, plus a monthly meeting of the Utah Board of Tourism Development and an evening reception hosted by the Castle Country Travel Region.
May 17 will include Denise Miller, vice president of Strategic Marketing and Research Inc., presenting the results of the latest Utah advertising effectiveness survey, plus a legislative update during lunch.
May 18 features a discussion on Utah's international tourism markets with the state's representatives in Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom; Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. speaking about Utah's tourism industry; and the presentation of the Utah Tourism Hall of Fame awards and the second annual Utah Tourism Advertising and Marketing Contest awards.>
