WSU powwow to feature food, arts and crafts

OGDEN — Weber State University will host the 36th annual Contest Powwow as part of Native American Emphasis Week this week.

The powwow will be Saturday at the Dee Events Center, with grand entries at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. The celebration will include American Indian arts, food, crafts and dancing. Drum and dance contests will also be held.

Tickets are $3 for adults, $1 for students, and free for senior citizens and children under 6.
