Kuresa offers his advice for nothing.

"It feels good. I wanted to prove myself. A lot of teams like heavy guys at guard. I'm under 320 right now, but if a team likes their guards 330, I can get there. If they want their guards to be 320 or 315, I can be there in no time at all. Whatever they want, I can do."

Kuresa said he had his wife, Robyn, cook his food. "I went on a basic diet. It wasn't one of those fancy diets that are all protein. I just ate smaller amounts, ate healthier food, a lot of vegetables.

"I focused on eating not to get full, not forcing myself to get full. I'd eat until I felt good and no more — not eat like I wasn't going to see food for a few days. That's what I used to do. Also, I started to eat slow, take my time, drink some water during meals. I felt full on less food.

"It made a big difference, and the weight just consistently came off. I worked out every morning from 7:30 to 11:30 lifting, ate with my wife and did some cardio in the evenings."

Now, Kuresa has NFL teams calling him. He's getting calls from some offensive line coaches around the league who've come to Provo to evaluate him and teammate Eddie Keele.

Just Tuesday, teammate Ray Feinga met and started talking to Kuresa. "After a minute or two, he asked if it was really me. Wow, did I look that bad before?"

Kuresa believes he'll get his NFL shot, if not in the draft, as a free agent. He'll get his chance to prove himself at the next level — if not modeling a pair of those bicycle shorts.
