Salt Lake City voters will have their first chance to hear almost all the candidates for mayor discuss issues facing the city Monday.

The Public Interest Law Organization at the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law will host a candidate forum Monday at 5 p.m. at the college, 332 S. 1400 East.

Organizers say they have been unable to reach only two of the 10 would-be mayors — Robert Comstock and Arnold Matthew Jones. The other eight should all be there, making for a lot of voices and, they hope, a lot of discussion and ideas.

The event is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the forum.
